Hello my name is Stuart M. Guthrie and I’m from Bluffton SC I’m 28 years old and have lived in this area for close to 24 years. My whole life I’ve been involved with the outdoors and Fishing has become a major part of my life. As of March 25, 2001 I gave my life to the Lord, since then I have been trying to find a way that I could do the Lords will in my life. I was lead to start this non-profit organization called the Christian Fishing Association Inc in 2004 and the purpose of this organization is to spread the word of God by allowing other to see the love of Christ through us in doing the very thing that we enjoy, Fishing.. Below is a list of Goals that we will accomplish in the near future:

Short-term Goals:

1. CFA would like to have a study group opportunity for those who want to learn to become a disciple, lead by a Christian leader one day a week.

2. CFA would like to see on average this year 25 boats per events in 2007.

3. CFA would like to put on a Kids-fishing tournament for the kids in the local communities.

4. CFA leaders will go and meet with churches around the area to introduce the CFA and its many ministries.

5. CFA would like to sponsor one or more missionaries.

6. CFA would like to sponsor or help support a mission trip in this country or in another country.

7. CFA would like to support a needy family in this country and in other countries.

8. CFA would like to organize a “mentor” system in which non-Christians will be paired up with Christian members who are strong in their faith and can act as a disciple to them and work together on a weekly base.

9. CFA would like to start a division of CFA to reach the Hispanic community.

10. CFA would like to see a chapter in GA, FL and SC start holding events and having gatherings them selves.

11. CFA would like to obtain all of our needed materials for events and tournaments “Platform for tournament, digital scale window water tanks to keep fish alive and oxygen system for the fish.

12. CFA would like to its membership numbers to increase to 100 members

13. CFA would like to see on average 125 people at each event and gathering.

14. CFA would like to obtain $15,000.00 dollars in Sponsorships for the 2007 CFA and all its events.

15. We would like for some of members to invite a non Christian to fish the CFA tournaments and take them fishing, giving us the opportunity to tell them about Christ.

Long-term Goals:

1. CFA would like to see a fishing show take place where we would have vendors from fishing product companies come set up booths, seminars for fishing tips, raffles, concerts, and speakers such as Tony Evans, TD Jakes, and more.
2. CFA would one day like to have an office building with a full-time staff.
3. CFA will sponsor a pro level fishing team on the Red Fish Tour and the SKA King Fish Tour and set up a booth and hand out flyers about the CFA at these secular Tournaments.
4. CFA would like to see people all over have gatherings and tournaments set up by their own Chapter of the CFA. North, South, East and West

After reading these I hope that you understand that you can be part of a team that reaches people through family events and also events that can change the lives of many people. We need your help and the help of others also to make this happen. We want you to be part of an organization that is focused on severing others. We will go above and beyond our means to present your company in everyway possible. We can customize your options by placing your decals on our boats, vehicles, and our fishing teams Shirts, which will be show at all tournaments that Team CFA competes in. Each event set up by the CFA can promote your companies name by signs, announcements, and products that were donated.
